Fused cast AZS block is made of industrial alumina (Al2O3>90%) and zircon sand. It has high content of alumina and good physical and chemical properties.
Abrasion resistance is the ability of refractory materials to resist friction, impact and abrasion. The better the abrasion resistance is, the better the properties of refractory materials. Abrasion resistance can be used to analyze the practicality of AZS bricks in wear and erosion environments.
The abrasion resistance of AZS bricks is up to the composition, structure and the density of the particles. Therefore, the quality of aggregates, the composition of mud and the sintering degree of the materials all will affect the abrasion resistance. AZS bricks with good voltage resistance at room temperature and low porosity have good abrasion resistance.
